The A to Z Guide About Website And How It Is Important For Your Business Success?

Website is the face of your business in internet. It is as if your store and products are at the hand of your customers. Currently everyone is using mobile and with their mobile they can visit your business within seconds without leaving their home. They can know about your business, your products, your uniqueness and your service within minutes. Then can order your products from their home and you can earn money from your home.

Website is also the most important part in building your customers list. Without your business website, you can’t build your customers list fast. There are thousands of benefits of having a website which if described then this book will be very long. So I am providing as needed information only.

If you already have your own website, then I don’t need to tell you what are its benefits (unless you are not earning money from your website, if not, then read on and use this marketing strategy).

If you don’t have website, don’t worry. I will show you all about website and how it will help you earning lots of money fast.

Domain:

Every website need a domain name. What is domain name? It is just a name you registered in the internet to use, no one can use that name in their business. Suppose your business name is XYZ. Then if you registered your domain name as XYZ.COM. Then no one can use that name. And you can easily do your business with that name.

A domain name need to registered in a yearly basis & its price is cheap like 500 to 800 as per domain extensions and every year you need to renew it. (What is domain extensions: .com, .in, .net, .org etc. these are called domain extensions)

Website:

After you registered your domain, you need to have website with that name. A website is like a software with your domain name. For example, the software you use in your mobile is called android/iOs; and its name is android/iOS respectively. In your android/iOs you can do lots of tasks like calling, watching video, browsing internet, chatting etc. Similarly, in your website, you can add your products, create funnel (more info coming soon), promote your offers etc. Also your customer can know about your business, check products, order products from your etc.

In sort, your website works as a software where you can sell and customers can buy from you easily.

Hosting:

Now you have your domain and website. As website is a software, you need to install it in a computer otherwise it will not run. But here the computer need to be always connected with the internet, otherwise the website will not work. Here come the hosting company. There are big company who brought lots of very powerful computer which are always connected with super fast internet service, then they offer you to install your website/software in their computer with a small monthly price. Its like they are renting some space in their computer where you can run your website without you paying cost for new computer or 24/7 internet service.

Let me give you a example. In a physical store, you need to rent store in the market, then you give monthly rent fees. Here you are paying rent for your physical store. Similarly, in websites, you pay rent for your online store.

There are lot of hosting company in the world, some are good & give good service; some are bad and give very bad service. A good hosting company will charge 500 to 1500 per month as per your business needs. The more customers you get in your website; the more charge you need to pay (as their computer will load more resources). But don’t worry about their charges. By comparing your monthly profits from your website, it will be negligible. If you are getting 500 new customers per month from your website and earning 5,00,000 revenues per month, then giving 500 to 1500 per month is very negligible for you. Unlike a physical store, where you must pay hefty rent like 5000 to 10,000 or more no matter you get profits or not from your business. But in online, if you are not getting profits, you can pay very less like just 300 to keep your business float online. Isn’t it super cheap?

Different parts of a Websites.

Treat your website like your own physical store. There is no much difference then one is offline and another is online. Here I will show the different part of a website and how it will help in getting more customers, getting more sales and earning more money.

Pages:

A page is like a room in your store. In your physical store, you have limited room and you can keep limited products. But in a website, you can have unlimited page and can store unlimited products.

Home Page:

This is the front page of your website. This is like the front room in your store where most customers come first. In your home page, you will show what your business is about, what types of products you sell, your current offered products and reviews of other customers. So when customers visit your website, they will always come to your homepage 1st. There they will have a basic knowledge about your business which will help them in making their purchase decisions.

Shop page:

This is the page where you showcase your products or services. This is like a shelf in your store. In your physical store you can keep limited products with no or less information about them. But in your website, you can keep unlimited products with as much information you want. In your shop page, customers can find whatever the products they want, know more about them and make purchase decision. If your business is already a brand, then they may purchase without inquiry much. If your business is new in online world, they may need to contact you before purchasing. In every case, you will get the data of your customers.

Funnel page:

This is one of the most important page in your website. Here the magick of marketing begins. Without a funnel, it will be difficult to grow your customer list. And with a funnel you will grow your customer list like a super fast train.

If you are new to digital marketing, then this funnel word may seem odd to you. Don’t worry, I will show what it means and how it will help you immensely in building your list.

A funnel is a collection of 1 or 2 page, which is used to collect the data of your target customers as Leads. In a funnel, a customer will willingly give their data. That’s its main purpose.

Now you will have a question, why a customer will give you his/her name and number/email willingly. Here the game begins. Its because you are giving him/her something in return for free or giving some really huge discount which they can’t resist but to give you their data. Before telling you more about this, let me explain you some business words here.

Lead magnet: A product or information you give for free or in a very discounted price that your target customer will feel attracted to it and want to have it at any cost.

Landing page: A page where you show case your offer in a beautiful manner with a form to capture the data of your customer.

Form: Here the customer gives their name and contact information. You must ask for it politely & assure them you will never spam them.

Thanks you page: A page where you fulfill your promise by giving your lead magnet.

Let me show you an example. Suppose you have a mobile store. You may be selling glass guards or cover with a price tag or 70 to 100 as per your location. But you know what is the real cost of those products to you which is most probably very less as you should be buying wholesale. Now you will create a coupon offer in your website. You will 1st add a small product like glass guard/cover in your website, then create a coupon with a really heavy discount ( You should give really big discount and keep less or no profit in this offer), then post that coupon in the funnel 1st page. Here your offer/coupon will be called lead magnet (as it will attract a customer to check it out) and the page where you post your coupon/offer Is called landing page (here the customers visit to get the offer).

So after creating your lead magnet & landing page, you will use various marketing strategy to promote it in online. When customer who has not know your business see your landing page, they will feel attracted to that page, they will click on your landing page, read the offer and give you their data, then they will reach the thank you page where they will find the offer. If the customer purchase this, you will find a customer instantly, then later you will follow up him/her for repeat purchase. If they did not buy instantly, then they will be in Lead category, then your duty is to follow up with them so that they will make a purchase. If they inquiry about it but not purchased, then you will get a prospect which are more likely to convert when you follow up next time.

There are millions of ways you can create your funnel as per your business. May be you are cloth store owner, you will find a very good design but cheap product, give a huge discount on it, create a funnel out of it, promote it, get customers data. May be you know how to choose good quality dress. Then you will create a lead magnet showing how to find best dress in a store, create a funnel and get new leads.

Here the opportunity and possibility are countless. The whole digital marketing is based on funnels, funnels and funnels. There are hundreds of marketing books based on funnels are publishing everyday. Every big company is using this to collect the data of their customers. So you can do it too. This funnel idea may seem complex to you, but trust me, when you start using it, it will be very easy for you to understand and finally you will love it when it will give you real result of success.  Trust me, its Real.

Blog:

Blog is something where you show your talent, your expertise, your business background story, your latest offer, news regarding your business etc. Blog is like a newspaper of your business where you publish contents which you find your customers may enjoy to read. Blog is not a shop page; it is an influence page. Here you post contents, entertain them, give them good advice and sometimes help them genuinely in making purchasing decisions.  Blog is like a right hand of your marketing as it will be use in your follow up strategy.

Let me show you an example of how blog will be useful for you. Suppose you have an electronic store. Then in your blog, you can publish your personal review of products, you can tell customer which products to choose, you can show new products came to your store, you can show unboxing videos, you can show how a product work. Also you can show more about yourself as company owner, how you love serving customers, your business back story etc.

Other pages:

Other page includes contact us page & some legal pages. In a contact us page, a customer can find all information regarding contacting you, like your business number, WhatsApp number, social media profiles etc.

Legal pages include privacy policy page (where you swear your customers that you will keep their data private, never share them with third part, never spam them etc.), terms & conditions page (here you show all your own terms & condition in doing business with customers like your return policy etc. A customer must abide by your terms & condition when they visit your website)

There are other types of pages too, but I am skipping them. Because I have already discussed the most important part of a website. Home page, shop page, funnel page & blog page are the most important part of any business.
